To encourage all Democratic women to participate in the work of their Party as a public service in the belief that the political party system strengthens the nation’s representative form of government.

Democratic Women of Dare:

Support the principles of the Democratic Party and to work for the election of Democratic candidates.

Address issues, especially those affecting women, and to promote and support legislation that will bring economic equality to women.

Encourage qualified Democratic Women to seek public office at the local, state and national levels.

Promote friendship and cooperation among Democratic Women of Dare County and all counties in North Carolina.
